Safer Business Action Day on King’s Road Delivers Results in Tackling Business Crime

King’s Road Partnership has reinforced its commitment to tackling business crime in Chelsea by hosting a Safer Business Action Day (SaBA) in partnership with the Safer Business Network.

The initiative brought together the Metropolitan Police, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Cadogan, MY LOCAL BOBBY, the Cyber Resilience Centre for London, and local businesses for a coordinated day of action. The joint patrol across King’s Road demonstrated the strength of partnership working in improving safety and reducing crime in one of London’s most iconic retail destinations.

Key Outcomes from the Safer Business Action Day

The collaborative operation delivered measurable results for businesses on King’s Road:

  • A wanted suspect was identified by the Metropolitan Police, with intelligence shared with relevant authorities

  • Eight businesses received direct police support on live investigations, helping secure key evidence for prosecution

  • Fifteen local businesses engaged with the Cyber Resilience Centre for London to access cyber security and resilience training

  • Three shoplifters targeting member businesses were detained and arrested

Safer Business Action Days are part of a national initiative led by the National Business Crime Centre, aimed at strengthening local partnerships, improving intelligence sharing, and delivering coordinated responses to business crime.

This latest operation highlights the effectiveness of collaborative working in Chelsea, ensuring King’s Road remains a safe, secure, and welcoming destination for businesses, employees, and visitors.
