Kensington + Chelsea Foundation needs your help this Winter

King’s Road Partnership official charity – Kensington + Chelsea Foundation – has launched a new campaign to support its partners as they battle with the cost-of-living crisis.

K+C Foundation explains:

“The projects we support not only deliver vital frontline services to 1,500 people in need, but many also offer a warm, communal, safe space to vulnerable residents. As well as reducing isolation, they provide sustenance with the offer of a nutritious hot meal and access to wider support.

“It’s crucial that we offer additional support this Winter for partners whose own costs have increased, so that they can continue to provide essential services throughout the crisis.

The Felix Project, a food distribution charity working across London, has reported that its running costs have now increased by 20%, while its volunteers are leaving to take on more paid work to meet their own higher living costs.”

Ali Kingsley, CEO of the Refettorio Felix lunch project adds:

“Despite our own costs and fuel bills skyrocketing we are determined to continue to provide a warm, safe space to the people that rely on our services.

“For some people who are particularly vulnerable this is the only opportunity they will have to come together with others, have a hot meal and get the support that they need. It is essential we stay open this Winter.”
