French premium beauty retailer Oh My Cream joined the King’s Road just before Christmas, as one of its first forays into the UK market with the opening of its first store in London, Notting Hill, in October last year.
The business is a concept store dedicated to skincare, featuring premium, clean, brands at the cutting edge of technology and luxury retail. Their website similarly promises ‘Oh My Cream is the (clean) beauty concept-store that gives you access to what is best for your skin.’
Now one of 24 stores, with almost half of these based in Paris, the brand brings a fresh outlook to the King’s Road for wellness and skincare in the area. Founded in 2013 by Juliette Levy Cohen, the store offers free skincare consultations, and face treatments from brands such as Tata Harper, Dermalogica, and Oh My Cream’s own-brand, as well as an infrared sauna, alongside their retail offering.
Speaking to Fashion Network, Juliette Levy Cohen said: “I love coming to London for shopping but felt like it was missing a new generation of beauty destination. Following Oh My Cream’s success in France, London as the first step of our international expansion was a no-brainer for me.
“I know Londoners will be very excited to discover the exclusive brands and (affordable) treatments that [we] offer. And in an era of online shopping, we are also convinced that our physical presence and tailored approach to skincare is unique and super differentiating. Our ambition is for Oh My Cream to become the favourite (clean) beauty destination in the UK.”
Other labels available there include Paï, Ren, Sunday Riley, Susanne Kaufmann, Bio Effect, Augustinus Bader, Herbivore, Ilia, Combeau, Patyka, Nuori, Kure Bazaar, and Agent Nateur. Plus there are exclusive brands such as Rudolph Care, Atelier Nubio, Cosmic Dealer, Sentara, and Solaris NY.
